Sealark

Sealark is a first-floor apartment on a central street in Salcombe, reached by 15 steps up to the entrance, which may not suit less able guests. It sleeps 6 across three bedrooms: a king-size room with its own TV, a twin room with 3ft beds that look over the main street and can be linked into a super-king-size on request, and a bunk room with an en-suite bathroom of its own. A separate family shower room with a heated towel rail serves the other two bedrooms, and bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

The open-plan living area combines the kitchen, dining space and sitting room, with a woodburning stove for evenings in, though logs are not provided. The dining table sits in the centre of the kitchen for evening meals. The kitchen has an electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and there's a TV and WiFi throughout. Electric heating and the stove keep the apartment warm, with fuel and power included in the rent.

Sealark takes one well-behaved pet at an extra charge. A parking permit is available for one car in Salcombe's long-stay car park, subject to restrictions, and the shop and pub are both about 0.1 miles away with the beach around 0.4 miles. There's no garden at the property, and smoking is not permitted anywhere inside.
