Sandcastles 15A Fore Street sits in the heart of Salcombe, on Folly Lane off Fore Street. Steps from the front door lead up to the first floor, with two more bedrooms on the second floor above that. The cottage sleeps 4: a super-king-size room that can be set up as twin beds on request, with its own en-suite bathroom, and a second bedroom with a double bed. Because of the stairs, the cottage is not suitable for children under 5.

The first floor holds a dining room that seats five, plus an open-plan kitchen and dining area towards the rear with a smaller table for breakfast. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, toaster and kettle, and a washing machine. A family shower room with a shower, basin and WC also sits on this floor; note that its fireplace is ornamental and not for use.

Sandcastles takes one well-behaved dog. A parking pass gives access to Salcombe's long-stay car park on a first-come basis rather than an allocated space, and the pub is about 0.01 miles from the door with a shop around half a mile away. WiFi covers the cottage, bed linen and towels are provided, and smoking is not permitted inside. The cottage sits on Folly Lane off Fore Street, in among Salcombe's shops and restaurants, and parking is not allocated to a specific bay.
