Samphire

Samphire is a ground-floor apartment in Teignmouth, a short walk from the seafront, with shops, a pub and the beach all around 50 yards from the door. The apartment sleeps 2 in one king-size bedroom, with a bathroom fitted with a shower cubicle, basin and WC.

Inside, an open-plan living space combines a seating area with a smart TV, a dining spot and a contemporary kitchen with a slimline dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and fridge. Electric heating and WiFi are included, along with bed linen and towels.

Parking is free on-street in the vicinity, or in nearby public car parks where weekly permits can be bought online in advance. Teignmouth itself has a working harbour, a sandy beach backed by a Victorian pier, a sailing club and a diving centre, with Dartmoor National Park 12 miles away and Exeter 15 miles.

The seaward side of the town, known as the Den, has a large public green with play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green and a miniature lighthouse, and the town holds folk and jazz festivals plus an annual carnival and water regatta each year.

Samphire is strictly no smoking, and the apartment cannot accommodate bookings made through social care or local authority schemes; it is let for holiday and leisure stays only, not for work or business trips.
