Robyn Cottage

Robyn Cottage is a Grade II listed thatched cottage in Otterton, a village in one of East Devon's coastal valleys between Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, reached by a wooden spiral staircase from the ground floor. Nearby Otterton Mill, a working water mill on the River Otter, has a cafe and a gallery showing local arts and crafts.

The ground floor holds a lounge with a wood burning stove and a kitchen/diner with a tiled floor and a wooden table overlooking the garden. Upstairs, the king-size double bedroom has views over the garden towards the hills, and the twin bedroom sits at the front of the cottage, though it has no wardrobe.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a TV with DVD and WiFi. A cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request. The enclosed, lawned garden has a small patio with a table and chairs.

Parking is on a quiet road outside the cottage. Up to two pets are accepted, with a per-pet supplement for the stay, though care is needed on the wooden stairs. A heating supplement applies for holidays starting outside the summer months. The shop and pub are 350 yards away, and the beach at Ladram Bay is half a mile away along the South Devon Coast Path.
