Parsonage Farm Cottage

Parsonage Farm Cottage is a detached reverse-level cottage in the village of Newton Ferrers, on a bend of the River Yealm, with a village pub less than a mile away. Believed to have once been a sleeping chamber for the Bishop of Exeter, it sleeps 4 across two ground-floor bedrooms, and is unsuitable for children under 3 because of the stairs.

Steps lead up to the first-floor open-plan living space, with its lofty beams, red sofas and a handcrafted kitchen area. Downstairs, the king-size double and the twin share a shower room with a spacious shower cubicle, WC and basin.

The kitchen has a microwave, fridge and dishwasher, with a TV with DVD and WiFi, and fuel and power included in the rent. A highchair is available on request. Outside, an enclosed garden at the front has outdoor furniture and a barbecue for eating alfresco, alongside a lawn shared with the neighbouring cottage.

Off-road parking is provided for three cars, and an EV charger is available, with charges paid to the owner direct. Parsonage Farm Cottage is no smoking throughout, and from April to October the change-over day is Friday. Plymouth is around 8 miles away, and the sandy beaches at Mothecombe and Bigbury are a few miles down the road.
