Kittiwake

Kittiwake stands in the creekside village of Noss Mayo within the South Devon AONB, on the banks of Noss Creek, with Newton Ferrers reachable across the water about a mile away. This detached cottage sleeps 5 across three lower-ground-floor bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the main living space on the ground floor above.

The lower-ground-floor bedrooms comprise a double with a basin, a twin/double, and a single with its own en-suite shower room, basin and WC, reached only through the garden or balcony rather than the hallway, a private spot suited to a teenager. A further bathroom on the same floor has a bath with a shower over.

The ground floor above holds an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room with a wood-burning stove, plus a furnished balcony for outdoor meals. The dining table seats 5, and gas central heating, a Smart TV, WiFi and a Bluetooth speaker system cover the rest of the house. The kitchen has an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A travel cot, highchair and stair gate are available, and a chest of board games and puzzles is provided.

Outside, an enclosed garden has furniture, a barbecue and a fire pit, and off-road parking covers two cars, with a garage for kayak or bike storage. Kittiwake does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout. The village shop is 1.1 miles away and the pub just 0.1 miles.
