Orchard Barn

Orchard Barn sits close to the head of Batson Creek, around a fifteen-minute walk from the shops, restaurants and quayside of Salcombe. It's a quiet spot for a couple or family, with the South West Coast Path nearby for walkers and a foot passenger ferry across to the sandy beaches of East Portlemouth.

The cottage sleeps 5 across three bedrooms: a master with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, a second king-size room, and a single. There's a family bathroom with bath and shower plus a separate cloakroom. The lounge has two sofas, a flatscreen TV, DVD player and an open fire for cooler evenings, and the traditional cottage kitchen has a dining table and chairs alongside a fridge/freezer, oven, hob and dishwasher.

A door from the lounge leads out to a rear courtyard with patio furniture, a spot for meals outdoors in summer. Parking is provided for up to three cars or boats, and the heating is oil-fired. Bed linen and bath towels are supplied, and the beds use feather bedding with no alternative available.

Orchard Barn welcomes dogs; check the limit when you book. The property is strictly no smoking. The telephone takes incoming and local calls only. From Salcombe, Kingsbridge is 7 miles and Dartmouth 21.
