16 Bolt Head

16 Bolt Head sits above the sandy beach of South Sands, part of Salcombe, with views over the estuary from its front rooms. A private entrance leads into a hallway with a cloakroom, and double French doors from the lounge open onto a paved terrace with patio furniture, the main spot for meals outside.

The open-plan sitting and dining area has two sofas and a table seating six, next to a fully fitted kitchen with oak units and Neff appliances including a five-ring hob, an electric oven, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. A Smart TV with Freeview and WiFi cover the evenings in.

Stairs from the hallway lead up to three bedrooms: a king-size room with fitted wardrobes and an en-suite shower room, a twin room looking out across South Sands, and a single. A second, fully tiled family bathroom with bath and overhead shower serves the two smaller rooms. Heating is by electric storage heaters, with hot water from an immersion tank.

One car has an allocated space, though the main car park has a 1.9-metre height restriction and the space itself slopes, so it's worth asking the office for details. EV charging is available at shared ports for guests who register with the office in advance. No pets are allowed and the house is strictly no smoking.
