Mill Barn

Mill Barn is a large house converted from the biggest part of a barn complex on the edge of the Woolston hamlet, opposite a farmhouse and within reach of Salcombe and Kingsbridge. It sleeps 14 across six bedrooms and five bathrooms, with a second kitchen for big groups to spread out.

The first-floor open-plan living space has a wood-burning stove, a big dining table and a well-equipped kitchen, plus two en-suite double bedrooms: one with a super king-size bed, bath and separate shower, the other with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. Downstairs are four more bedrooms, an en-suite king-size double, a bunk room, a twin that converts to a super king-size double, and a family room with four singles, two of which convert to a super king-size double, plus a further shower room and bathroom.

Outside, a safely enclosed courtyard at the side of the house is for eating out or lounging on the grass, and a rear courtyard has an outdoor shower and a garage for bikes and wet dogs. Across the lane, a games barn has skittles, pool and table tennis, and a play area has a climbing frame and slide, while an indoor playroom offers air hockey and table tennis.

The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, fridge-freezer, tumble dryer, three washing machines and a dishwasher, with a TV with Sky Sports and DVD, WiFi and underfloor heating alongside the wood-burning stove. Off-road parking is provided for five cars, and Mill Barn welcomes two well-behaved dogs, though stag and hen parties are not accepted and the property is no smoking. Charging electric vehicles or e-scooters is not permitted at the property; the nearest charging points are at a supermarket about three miles away.
