Moult Hill Barn

Moult Hill Barn is a contemporary barn conversion set back from Salcombe, a 10 to 15 minute walk from North and South Sands beaches. The barn sleeps 16: five en-suite bedrooms, three of them on the ground floor, plus two sofa beds in the first-floor mezzanine adding four further sleeping spaces, with linen for those available on request for an extra charge.

The ground-floor rooms include a super king-size bedroom with an en-suite wet room and a Grohe rain head shower, plus two family bunk rooms, each with a double bed, a set of bunk beds and a trundle bed on request. The top bunks suit children over six, up to 70kg. Upstairs, two further super king-size bedrooms each have their own en-suite shower room, and a wellness room offers a quiet space away from the main living areas.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area runs the length of the barn, with a granite-topped island, two electric ovens, two dishwashers and a washing machine. A wood burning stove heats the sitting area on cooler evenings, and the dining table seats twelve, with an extending table for larger groups. WiFi and a Smart TV cover downtime, and a highchair and travel cot are available on request.

Outside, the large patio and garden have a Blackstone gas griddle for outdoor cooking, and off-road parking is provided for up to six cars. Moult Hill Barn takes two well-behaved dogs. Smoking is not permitted, stag and hen parties are not accepted, and the shop and pub are both a mile away.
