Little Piccadilly

Little Piccadilly is a stone cottage in the hamlet of Cole's Cross, close to the village of East Allington and about 4 miles from Kingsbridge. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and one bathroom, and bookings need a 4-night minimum stay, so it suits a longer countryside break rather than a short weekend.

An open-plan living space with exposed beams holds the sitting and dining areas, with a table seating four for evening meals. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and an under-counter fridge with a freezer compartment, enough for straightforward self-catering. One bedroom has a double bed and the other a single, with a truckle bed available on request for an extra guest, both served by a shower room with a shower, basin and WC.

Oil central heating covers the cottage, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels all included in the rent, plus a TV and WiFi for evenings in. Off-road parking is provided for one car, and guests get shared use of the owner's garden, which has a pond in the grounds. The setting is open countryside, though the coast at Salcombe and Dartmouth is within easy reach by car.

This is a pet-free property, though the owner keeps her own dogs next door, so it won't suit anyone hoping to bring their own pet along. Smoking is not permitted, the shop is 3.9 miles away and the pub 1.1 miles.
