Farthings

Farthings is a modern detached house sleeping six in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy reach of Sidmouth. Private parking is available on site, and the layout suits families particularly well: the bunk bedroom is designated for children, and a travel cot is available for the youngest guests. No dogs are permitted at this property.

The ground floor centres on a generous open-plan living and dining room. A Georgian bow window fills the space with light, a dining table seats all six guests, and French doors open directly onto the rear terrace. The kitchen is separate and fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher, while a washing machine makes the house practical for longer stays. Linen and towels are not included but can be hired.

All three bedrooms are on the first floor, served by a single family bathroom with a bath, shower over the bath and WC; the double room also has its own wash basin. A Smart TV and internet access are available, and the property receives a welcome pack on arrival.

To the rear, a sizeable enclosed lawn garden with a paved terrace and outdoor dining furniture provides a secure space for children and adults alike. A small lawn also sits at the front of the house. Local shops and a pub are within half a mile, making it straightforward to pick up supplies without needing the car.
