Flat 1 Harley House is a ground-floor apartment set above the High Street in Sidmouth, reached by its own private front door up a short flight of steps. The open-plan living space combines a sitting area with a Smart TV, a dining area and a kitchen, with a separate ground-floor cloakroom and a utility area off to one side.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine, and underfloor heating runs throughout the flat. Of the two bedrooms, the front room has a king-size bed and the second has twin 2'6" beds that can be linked into a king-size on request. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, basin, WC and heated towel rail.

A rear courtyard, enclosed and furnished, opens off the back of the flat, with a smaller garden area at the front. One well-behaved dog is welcome here. The shop and pub are both around 0.1 miles away and the beach about 0.2 miles, with check-in from 4pm and check-out by 10am.

Smoking is not permitted, and a housekeeping bond applies to the booking. Anyone in the group who finds steps difficult should note the flight leading up to the front door, since it's the one way in. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.
