Fairview

Fairview sits in a residential part of Salcombe, reached down a flight of stairs to the lower ground floor accommodation. A sitting room with comfortable seating and a dining table by a bay window make up the main living space, and the cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

The kitchen has a breakfast bar tucked beside the archway, and a separate utility area holds a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Both bedrooms, one double and one twin, are neutrally decorated, and the family bathroom has a bath with a separate shower.

The living space is fitted with a TV with Freeview and a DVD player, plus an iron and ironing board and a selection of books, games and DVDs for evenings in. Bed linen and towels are provided, and fuel and power are included in the rent, so there's little to organise before arrival.

Outdoors, a private lawn to the rear comes with furniture for meals outside, though the garden has steep steps that need care. One car can park on the road outside the cottage, and the shop is a two-minute walk with a pub around fifteen minutes away. North Sands and South Sands beaches are both within easy reach, along with the National Trust garden at Overbeck's.

Fairview takes one well-behaved dog, subject to a weekly charge, and the property is strictly no smoking, with no stag, hen or similar groups. A separate property above Fairview sleeps 8, and the two can be rented together with the garden joined, for larger groups or two families travelling together.
