Cranford

Cranford is a three-storey, fully refurbished house in the heart of Salcombe, Devon, reached via a flight of external steps that make it unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility. The house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and a private garage at the rear, big enough for one medium-sized car (not a larger vehicle, and no roof boxes), is a short walk from the front door.

The ground floor holds the main living space: a modern kitchen with a breakfast island, a dining area and a sitting area with a Smart TV, plus underfloor heating and a second sitting room with an electric 'log burner' style fire. Patio doors open onto the outside dining area, and a cloakroom/utility with a washing machine and tumble dryer sits just off it.

Upstairs on the first floor, a double bedroom and a king-size (zip/link) room share an en-suite shower room and a family bathroom with a bath and shower. The second floor holds the master bedroom, with its own en-suite and a Velux window over the garden and estuary beyond. Both bathrooms and the ground floor benefit from underfloor heating.

Outside, a front decked area with furniture looks over the town, and the rear garden has a terrace, dining table, parasol and a built-in barbecue for alfresco meals. Cranford does not take pets and is no smoking throughout, and the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, an induction hob, a dishwasher and a wine chiller. Check-in is Friday only.
