Crab Cottage

Crab Cottage sits in a short, narrow cul-de-sac only a few minutes' walk into Salcombe, with views across Island Street towards Batson Creek and Snapes Point. Steps lead up from Croft Road to a ground-floor lobby and sitting room warmed by a wood-burning stove, with a kitchen/dining room seating six beyond it.

Three bedrooms sleep 6 over the upper floors. The master has a king-size bed, creek views and an en-suite shower room. A twin room has two single beds, and a second twin room has two smaller 2'6" beds. A family bathroom with a whirlpool bath and corner shower completes the layout, along with a downstairs cloakroom. For reasons of comfort, the accommodation is not recommended for more than four adults in any one party.

The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, tumble dryer and microwave, and gas central heating covers the cottage throughout. A raised terrace at the rear has a table, chairs and a BBQ, though the garden itself is shared with neighbouring properties and not enclosed.

Off-road parking is provided directly outside for one small car, accessed by parallel parking on a narrow road; a nearby long-stay car park offers additional space at extra cost. The top bedroom's door sits at the bottom of the stairs, so it is not recommended for children under 5. No pets are permitted, and the cottage is strictly no smoking.
