Boatman's Cottage

Boatman's Cottage is a cottage in the centre of Salcombe, a short walk from the harbour, shops and the town's amenities. The staircase is steep, a reflection of the property's age, so it suits guests happy with stairs rather than those with limited mobility. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and one shower room, though the bunk room is for children only, so the property suits a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.

The double bedroom has blue accents and coastal touches, and the bunk bed room, styled the same way, is set aside for younger guests. Guests can bring their own travel cot, which needs to be set up in the bunk room, since there's limited space in the double. A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC serves both bedrooms.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room brings the cottage together, with a breakfast bar seating four for meals and a TV in the sitting room. The kitchen has an oven, a hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster and a kettle, and WiFi covers the cottage. Gas central heating keeps things warm, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent.

Boatman's Cottage welcomes one well-behaved dog. The cottage does not provide parking, so guests use the nearby long-stay car park. The shop is 0.1 miles away, the pub 0.2 miles and the beach 1.2 miles. Smoking is not permitted.
