Aune Cottage

Aune Cottage sits within a row of terraced cottages just off Fore Street in central Salcombe, a few yards' walk from the town's shops, restaurants and waterfront at the bottom of Robinsons Row. There's no road access to the cottage: guests reach it up a steep incline, so it suits those comfortable with that approach.

The front door opens straight into a cosy sitting room with an open fireplace. The dining area seats four, next to a well-equipped galley kitchen, and a downstairs bathroom has a bath, electric shower over, WC and a heated towel rail. Stairs with a handrail lead up from the dining room to two first-floor bedrooms: a double master and a second room, best suited to children, with 3ft bunk beds. The cottage sleeps 4.

The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven, hob, tumble dryer, microwave and a washing machine, and there's a TV and DVD player for evenings in. Heating is by night storage heaters, and there's no internet access at the property. Patio doors from the bunk bedroom lead onto a good-size rear garden with a terrace, patio table and chairs, and pleasant estuary views.

A parking pass for one car currently covers the long stay car park in Salcombe, subject to restrictions, though the property will stop providing this permit from 11 December 2026. No pets are allowed, and the cottage is strictly no smoking. Bed linen and towels are supplied.
