8b Fore Street sits on the second floor of a building in the centre of Salcombe, reached by two flights of stairs and a shared lobby with an entry phone, with views over the harbour and the Salcombe estuary. It suits a family or one or two couples, sleeping 4 across two bedrooms, and is a short walk from the ferries and the waterfront's boutiques.

The open-plan living and dining room has a sofa, two armchairs and a table seating four, with the kitchen close by for easy meals in. Bedroom one is a king-size room with its own TV, and bedroom two has two 3-foot twin beds, workable for a family group. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, plus a separate WC.

The kitchen runs on an electric cooker with a microwave and a fridge with a freezer compartment, and there's a washing machine for longer stays. Heating is electric throughout, newly installed, with new double-glazed windows and complimentary WiFi, plus instant hot water. A TV, DVD player and CD/radio cover evenings in, and a landline offers free local calls.

A parking pass for one car is provided, valid for the long stay car park in Salcombe, subject to restrictions. Bed linen, bath towels, duvets and pillows are supplied, though guests need to bring their own beach towels. No pets are allowed, and the flat is strictly no smoking. The shop and pub are both under a mile away.
