8 Church Street is a semi-detached cottage arranged over three floors in the centre of Salcombe, a two-minute walk from the waterfront's shops, pubs and restaurants. It has views over Salcombe harbour and the surrounding countryside, though the layout may not suit guests with mobility issues.

The cottage sleeps 6 across three bedrooms: one king-size with a smart TV, one double with its own sink, and one with full-size bunk beds, served by two bath and shower rooms. The ground-floor kitchen and dining area gives space for family meals, and the second-floor sitting room takes in the estuary views.

The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine, plus a DAB radio, and a separate utility room holds the washing machine. Gas central heating covers the cottage, and WiFi is available throughout. A small courtyard with a bistro table and chairs sits behind the property, with a gate leading onto Church Street.

8 Church Street takes one small, well-behaved dog, at an extra charge per pet. A parking pass for one car covers the long stay car park in Salcombe and other South Hams locations, subject to restrictions, though no permit will be supplied from 2027. Bed linen and towels are provided, but guests need their own tea towels, and the property is strictly no smoking.
