5 Island Street

5 Island Street is a well-presented, three-storey terrace house set within easy, level walking distance of Salcombe's boutique shops and restaurants, and close to the sandy beaches at East Portlemouth, North Sands and South Sands and to the South West Coast Path. The house sleeps 6 across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a stacker bed in the ground-floor sitting room available on request.

The ground floor holds the sitting room, a fully fitted kitchen with a dining table and chairs, and access to the rear yard through the back door. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower over, and the twin bedroom has two 3ft single beds; a family bathroom with a bath and shower over sits alongside.

On the third floor, a lounge furnished with two sofas and occasional furniture opens through double doors onto a balcony with patio furniture and views of the harbour. The kitchen has a washer-dryer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a fridge-freezer and an electric oven with a gas hob, and there's a TV with Sky, DVD and a hi-fi in the lounge.

A parking pass for the long stay car park in Salcombe comes with the house, though guests should note there will be no parking permit provided from December 2027. WiFi is included throughout, and the property has accepted one well-behaved dog since September 2024. The house is strictly no smoking.
