First-floor Salcombe apartment with a balcony and estuary views

3 Melbury is a first-floor apartment in Salcombe, reached up a steep slope from the parking area, so it suits guests who are comfortable with a short climb on arrival. Inside, the sitting room and kitchen/diner sit together in a light, open layout, and the apartment sleeps four across two bedrooms.

The king-size double has its own en-suite with a shower over the bath, while the twin room uses zip/link beds that can be made up as a double on request and is served by a separate shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The twin room opens onto a balcony area, which looks out over the Salcombe estuary.

The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, oven and hob, and the sitting room has a TV and WiFi. Bed linen and towels are provided for the stay, so guests only need to pack for the days out.

No pets are allowed at 3 Melbury, and smoking is strictly prohibited throughout. A pub is within 0.7 miles and a shop within 0.4 miles, both an easy walk from the door, and the centre of Salcombe with its restaurants and shops is a short stroll further on.
