Yardarm

Yardarm is a spacious period town house on Devon Road in Salcombe, fully refurbished, with glimpses of the estuary from the lounge and master bedroom, and the town's waterfront a short walk away. A flight of steps leads up from the parking area to the ground-floor entrance, where a hallway gives access to two bedrooms, the family bathroom and a utility room.

The house sleeps 8 across four bedrooms. On the ground floor, a double room with a king-size bed has sliding patio doors onto a full-length balcony, and a twin room with two single beds shares the same balcony access. Upstairs, the first-floor living/dining area has two large sofas, a flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD, plus a small balcony with estuary glimpses. The contemporary kitchen has granite worktops, an electric oven and hob, a large fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

On the second floor, the master bedroom has a king-size bed and a Juliet balcony with estuary glimpses, and a second twin room has two single beds. A shower room sits next to the master, with a further shower room off the utility room, which also holds a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Off-road parking is provided for up to four cars, and one well-behaved dog is permitted. Baby-friendly facilities are available for younger guests. WiFi is available throughout, and the house is strictly no smoking; a full set of steep stone steps runs from the parking area to the front door.
