Woodland Roost

Woodland Roost is a single-storey holiday cottage for two in Parkham, a small village near Bideford. An open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room forms the heart of the cottage, with a woodburning stove in the sitting room for cooler evenings and a dining table set for an intimate meal for two. Outside, an enclosed patio with furniture gives a private spot for morning coffee or an evening drink.

The king-size bedroom and the shower room, which has a walk-in shower, basin and WC, are both reached down five steps from the main living space, so the cottage suits guests comfortable with stairs. It sleeps 2.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a dishwasher, and the sitting room has a Smart TV and WiFi. Electric central heating covers the cottage, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent, and a highchair and travel cot are also available for visiting children.

Woodland Roost takes two well-behaved pets. There's a designated parking space for 1 car, and electric vehicle charging is not available on site. The nearest shop is 4.1 miles away and the nearest pub 2.1 miles, with Bideford itself around 6.6 miles. Smoking is not permitted inside.
