Bank Hall Farm - The Cottage

Bank Hall Farm - The Cottage is a private wing of a secluded farmhouse on the edge of Parkham, set among twenty acres of grazing meadows and approached along a private lane. A cottage garden overlooks the countryside, and the sitting room has a woodburning stove with a dining area alongside.

The cottage sleeps 5 across two bedrooms: a double, and a family room with a small double and a single, one of the rooms enjoying valley views. A bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC serves both.

Oil central heating and the woodburning stove keep the cottage warm, with oil, electricity and wood included in the rent. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge, and there's a washing machine, a TV with Freeview, DVD and WiFi. A cot and highchair are available.

The garden is enclosed and lawned to the rear, with furniture for outdoor time, and off-road parking is provided for 2 cars. A half-mile walk across the fields reaches the 13th-century village pub.

One well-behaved dog is welcome; the owner keeps chickens and sheep around the property, so dogs need to stay under control. Smoking is not permitted, and there's no mobile signal on site.
