Hedgehog Hideaway

Hedgehog Hideaway is a single-storey cottage in the village of Parkham, part of the Penhaven Barns collection, with a rustic brick exterior. Although it's single-storey, there are steps down to the cottage and a further step down from the hallway into the lounge, so it suits guests comfortable with a few steps. It sleeps 2 in a single king-size bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space, served by a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

The open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area built around a woodburning stove, with a curved brick archway linking the kitchen hatch to the sitting room. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and the dining table is set for two. A Smart TV and WiFi cover evenings in, and electric heating runs throughout the cottage.

Patio doors open onto an enclosed courtyard with seating, a spot for a coffee and a book or dining outdoors. Fuel, power and a stove starter pack are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels.

A designated parking space covers 1 car. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is no electric vehicle charging at this property, and smoking is not permitted. The pub is around 0.2 miles away, the shop about 4.1 miles.
