Woodbury

Woodbury is a single-storey bungalow set on the hill above Teignmouth town centre, in a quiet residential area, with sea views across the bay from the L-shaped sitting and dining room. It sleeps 5 across three bedrooms, a king-size, a second king-size that converts to twin beds on request, and a single, sharing one family bathroom with a bath, shower, basin and WC. A steep driveway leads up a few steps to the hall, so it suits guests comfortable with that climb.

The kitchen is fitted for family cooking, with a microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, and the sitting room has a gas fire with central heating for cooler months. A Smart TV with DVD player and WiFi cover the evenings in. As the whole bungalow sits on one level, the bedrooms are all ground floor, useful for anyone who prefers not to manage stairs once inside.

Small enclosed gardens to the front and back include a lawn and a patio area, with space for a barbecue and an outdoor table. Off-road parking is provided for one car. A shop is 100 yards away, and Teignmouth town, with its shops, a theatre and pubs by the water, is 1.5 miles from the door.

Woodbury does not accept pets, and the property is no smoking and no vaping throughout. Bookings in July and August require a minimum stay of 5 nights, and the steep drive is worth taking carefully on arrival.
