Gorway Cottage

Gorway Cottage is a period house in the town of Teignmouth, reached by roadside parking nearby or a short walk from the train station. A boot room at the entrance gives a practical spot for coats and beach gear, and a cloakroom off it has a washing machine for freshening up towels and outdoor clothing.

The house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms: two king-size rooms upstairs, one with glimpses of the sea, and a twin bedroom with its own walk-in wardrobe area. A ground-floor shower room has a walk-in shower, and the family bathroom upstairs has a bath with a shower over. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and washing machine, and a snug off the sitting room holds a table for board games.

The sitting room is built around a woodburning stove, with fuel, power and a starter pack included for bookings between 1 November and 31 March. French doors lead out to the enclosed rear garden, which has a patio, outdoor seating and a barbecue. A highchair, travel cot and stairgate are available on request.

Gorway Cottage takes two well-behaved pets. Smoking isn't permitted. The shop, pub and beach are all within about 0.6 miles, and a river is around 0.8 miles away.
