Windwhistle

Windwhistle stands on Crowthers Hill above Dartmouth, up a steep and narrow access road, with private parking off Whirlpool Road. Six steps lead from the parking area to the entrance porch, and the house looks out over the River Dart estuary and Dartmouth College from two private balconies, one on the entrance floor and one on the first floor.

The entrance floor holds a cloakroom, kitchen and a living/dining room opening onto its balcony. The first floor has a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room (no WC) plus a second king-size bedroom that can be made up as a twin on request, sharing a further shower room with a WC. A super king-size bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom, also convertible to a twin, occupies the second floor alone. Windwhistle sleeps 6 across the three bedrooms, though the owner notes it suits 4 adults comfortably as a maximum.

The kitchen has an electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and gas central heating covers the house with fuel and power included in the rent. A Smart TV and WiFi are provided, and one car can park in front of the garage.

A flight of 41 external steps leads down from the first-floor balcony to a multi-level rear garden with furniture, a summerhouse and an outside kitchen area. Windwhistle does not accept pets and is strictly no smoking, with a shop 0.2 miles away and a pub 0.1 miles away. There is no door onto the second-floor bedroom, and the steps down to the garden need a bit of care.
