1 Coachman's Cottage, Hillfield Village

1 Coachman's Cottage sits within the old walled garden of the Hillfield Village development, a four-mile drive from Dartmouth and its riverside streets, cobbled lanes and shops. Refurbished over the winter of 2022, the semi-detached property sleeps six across three bedrooms and has an open-plan living and dining area with a large L-shaped sofa.

The king-size master bedroom has southerly views and its own en-suite bathroom with a bath, wash-hand basin and w.c., while the second and third bedrooms both have twin single beds and share an additional shower room. The kitchen has a fan oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, two fridges, a freezer and a washer-dryer, and the property is heated electrically throughout, with a TV and wifi for evenings in.

As part of Hillfield Village, guests can use the shared gardens, an all-weather tennis court and a children's play area with a climbing frame, slide and swings, though tennis rackets and balls are not provided, and barbecues are not permitted anywhere on the development. A cot and highchair are available on request for younger guests.

1 Coachman's Cottage has taken one well-behaved dog since November 2024. Parking is provided on site, bed linen and towels are supplied throughout, and the cottage sits within easy reach of the Start Bay coastline's coves and beaches. The property is strictly no smoking.
