Willow

A private hot tub sets Willow apart from the other lodges on the Stafford Moor site near Dolton, set beneath open skies with lake views close by. An outdoor tap with hot and cold water is fitted for rinsing off muddy boots and paws after a walk.

Inside, the ground floor holds an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, a double bedroom with an en-suite bath, handheld shower and heated towel rail, a twin bedroom, and a separate shower room. A third double bedroom sits upstairs next to a first-floor sitting room that opens onto a balcony with decking and furniture over the lake.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and two TVs plus WiFi cover the lodge, with central heating throughout. A non-enclosed front garden with a patio adds further space outside, and off-road parking is provided for 2 cars.

Around two miles of footpaths lead straight from the site, ideal for walking a dog before or after a soak in the hot tub, and pleasure fishing on the lakes is included, though equipment isn't provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome at Willow, and smoking is not permitted. The shop and pub are 3.2 miles away. Anglers must arrive before 4.30pm to allow time for equipment handling.
