Willow Tree Barn

Willow Tree Barn is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom lodge set in the hamlet of Ford near Fairy Cross, a short drive from Bideford in North Devon. Sleeping four across a super-king-size bedroom and a king-size bedroom, both with en-suite facilities, it suits two couples or a small family group equally well. Private off-road parking for multiple cars is available, and no dogs are permitted at this property.

You enter directly into a kitchen and dining area equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave and air fryer, with the dining table seating the full party. The adjoining lounge has a Smart TV and comfortable seating. A separate outbuilding houses a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus bike storage and space for hanging outdoor kit, which is practical for longer walking or cycling trips.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a lawn, outdoor seating with cushions and a BBQ. The surrounding land includes a three-acre field with a lake where rabbits, chickens, ducks, Canadian geese and herons can be spotted; this is managed land rather than a private amenity. A travel cot and high chair are available on request and should be arranged directly with the owner before arrival.

The nearest pub, restaurant and shop are around 1.8 miles away, and the coast is approximately four miles from the lodge. The South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail provide walking and cycling routes from the area, and the fishing village of Appledore is about six miles distant.
