Willow

Willow is a single-storey studio at Bydown, a hamlet a few miles from Barnstaple, reached across open countryside with fields on every side. The open-plan layout holds a king-size bed alongside the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with wooden flooring running throughout and a wall-mounted TV above the sofa. A shower room off the studio has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an icebox, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster, all set within the same open-plan room as the dining table for two. Electric central heating covers the studio, and there's a Smart TV with a selection of games and WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Off-road parking is provided for 1 car. Outside, guests share a garden with furniture, good for sitting out with a coffee and taking in the surrounding fields, plus a shared shed for storing bikes or surfboards. Willow can also be booked together with two neighbouring lodges, Jasmine and Fern, for a larger party of up to 6 across all three.

Willow doesn't take pets, and smoking isn't allowed. Babies are welcome in arms, but the property doesn't take other children. There's a Good Housekeeping bond on the property. The nearest pub is around a mile away, and the shop is roughly 4.6 miles off.
