Jasmine

Jasmine is a single-storey wooden lodge in the countryside at Bydown, about 5.2 miles from Barnstaple and close to Exmoor National Park. It's a studio layout built for two, with a king-size bed, kitchen and sitting area sharing one open-plan room, plus a separate shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, kettle and toaster, and central heating keeps the studio warm through the year. A Smart TV, WiFi and board games cover evenings in, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Outside, Jasmine has its own hot tub and countryside views, plus access to communal gardens shared with two neighbouring lodges on site, Fern and Willow. Each of the three lodges has its own king-size bed, kitchen and shower room, though the hot tub belongs to Jasmine alone. Off-road parking sits right beside the property.

No pets are allowed and the lodge is no smoking. The nearest shop is 4.6 miles away and the nearest pub is around 1 mile. Barnstaple itself sits at the mouth of the Taw Estuary on the North Devon coast, a short drive further on, with sandy beaches, a pannier market and independent shops.

Exmoor National Park is close by, with walking and birdwatching around Barle Valley, Cow Castle and Dunkery Beacon, and Instow, Northam Burrows and Greysands beaches are also within easy reach for a day at the coast.
