Widemouth Bay

Widemouth Bay is a single-storey cabin on the outskirts of Hartland, around 1.7 miles from the village itself, one of a small group known as the Hartland Coastal Cabins. The whole home is one open-plan room, so it suits a couple or a small family sharing, with occupancy set at 2.

Inside, the studio-style space holds a double bed and a bunk bed alongside a kitchenette and dining area with an electric fire. A small combi oven, hob, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster cover the cooking, and a separate shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Heating is electric, with fuel and power included in the rent.

Outside, a private, non-enclosed deck with furniture sits at the front, with a step down to a shared lawn and barbecue hut that the group of cabins uses together. Guests also have access to an on-site lake for a walk, and off-road parking is available. The shop is 1.7 miles away, the pub 1.6 miles and the beach 1.1 miles.

Widemouth Bay welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs, and smoking is not permitted. The cabins close each year from 21 January to 7 February and again from 6 to 9 June, so those dates are worth checking before booking.
