Hartland cabin for 2 with lake views and room for a pet

Barley Bay is one of the Hartland Coastal Cabins, a group of single-storey studio huts set back from the coast on the rural outskirts of Hartland, about 1.7 miles from the village. The cabin sleeps 2 in an open-plan layout with a double bed, a bunk bed, a kitchenette and a dining area heated by an electric fire.

The kitchenette has a small combi oven, hob, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster, and a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC serves the cabin. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and guests have access to the on-site lake, a short walk from the decking.

Private front decking has furniture and looks out over a shared front lawn with a barbecue hut, a good spot to cook outdoors on a fine evening. Parking is available on site, and there's a step down from the decking to the lawn to watch for.

One well-behaved pet is welcome at Barley Bay. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on site, and the cabins close each year from 21 January to 7 February and again from 6 to 9 June. The nearest shop is 1.7 miles away, the pub 1.6 miles, the beach 1.1 miles, and the lake itself just 0.3 miles from the cabin.
