Barley Cottage

Barley Cottage is single-storey, one of three holiday cottages set in shared grounds at the end of a farmhouse track in Hartland. The double bedroom has its own en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and the whole cottage suits a couple rather than a group.

A living and dining space sits at the heart of the cottage, with the kitchen/diner next door fitted with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. A conservatory gives a further spot to sit, and outside there's a large enclosed patio garden with distant views towards the coast and across the orchard.

Oil central heating covers the cottage, and a TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio and WiFi are provided, along with a shared washer/dryer in the shared utility room. A cot and highchair are available for younger visitors, and guests can also use the grounds' private woodland and paddock.

Barley Cottage takes two well-behaved dogs, with a complimentary guest laundry on site. Check-ins run on Fridays only, off-road parking is available, and the raised steps and terrace mean it may not suit toddlers or guests with low mobility. The shop is 2.1 miles away, the pub 2 miles and the beach 1.1 miles.
