West View Cottage

West View Cottage is an Arts and Crafts property in Beer, near Seaton, sleeping up to six across three bedrooms. The king-size and double share the main first-floor landing, while the twin sits two steps higher on a small half-landing. A family bathroom with a stained-glass window, separate bath and shower cubicle serves the upper floor; a ground-floor shower room with WC keeps mornings running smoothly for a full house.

The ground floor centres on an open-plan dining area with panoramic village views and a table set for six, connected to a refurbished kitchen with electric oven and hob, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A utility room holds the washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room has leather sofas, a Smart TV and an open fire with original period surround. A tiled entrance hall links these spaces, and anyone arriving should note that reaching the front door from the parking area requires a short flight of steps down.

Private parking for one car is included, with a permit provided and additional on-street parking directly outside. Below the parking area a stone-flagged sun-trap patio has outdoor dining furniture and a firepit that doubles as a BBQ. Children must be supervised on this elevated patio. Wi-Fi is available throughout the cottage.

Beer Beach is roughly half a mile away, and the village has a shop and pub within that same distance, making the cottage practical as a base whatever the weather. Two dogs are welcome, though they must not be left unattended in the property and additional charges may apply.
