Causeway Cottage

Causeway Cottage sits on an attractive street in Beer, a village on the South Devon coast, with the shingle beach less than half a mile away. The cottage sleeps six across three first-floor bedrooms: a king-size with TV, a double, and a twin with pine beds and a Smart TV. There are two bathrooms, each with shower and WC. One is inside; the other is unheated, reached via the side passage without passing through the house, making it especially practical after a day on the beach.

The open-plan living and dining room has a bay window, oak wooden floors, comfortable seating and a contemporary wood burner. A large oak dining table and an additional sofa give the group plenty of space to eat and relax together. The modern kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and oven, microwave, Bosch Tassimo coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine, with doors opening directly onto the patio.

Outside, a paved enclosed patio with garden furniture acts as a sun trap. Parking is in a public car park, with a permit provided. Up to three dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Towels are not included but can be hired. Wi-Fi is available throughout.

A shop and pub are both within half a mile. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
