West Lodge

West Lodge is a traditional-style property set within the Rousdon estate, near Lyme Regis, sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms. The ground floor centres on an entrance dining hall with space for family meals, leading through to a kitchen/diner fitted with a range-style cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A separate lounge features an original mullion window and an electric-effect wood burner fire, with a WC completing the downstairs accommodation.

Upstairs, the main double bedroom has an en-suite WC and distant sea views of the English Channel, while a second bedroom offers 2'6" twin beds, served by a nearby shower room with WC. A further double bedroom sits up a short flight of stairs, with its own bathroom nearby containing a shower over the bath and WC. Dogs are asked to stay downstairs during the stay.

Outside, the property has a spacious enclosed garden with far-reaching views and outdoor seating suited to alfresco dining or a morning coffee. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and internet access is available. A stairgate and travel cot are on hand for younger visitors, along with a highchair, making the property a practical option for family groups.

Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges possibly applying, and they must be kept on a lead when walking around the estate; a steep footpath gives access to the Undercliffs from the estate, which can be difficult underfoot when wet. A shop and pub are around a mile away. Arrival is from 17:00, with departure required before 10:00.
