2 Engine House sits on the 350-acre Rousdon estate on the Devon/Dorset border, a three-bedroom holiday home with an open-plan living space built around exposed brickwork, vaulted ceilings and a woodburning stove. The house sleeps 6, with room for up to 4 adults and 2 children plus one infant in a cot.

The ground-floor family room combines a double and a single bed with its own en suite shower room, while upstairs a double bedroom and a small single share the family bathroom, which has a bath, a hand-held shower, basin and WC. A cloakroom with a washer/dryer adds further facilities on the ground floor.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, and the living area has a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. A highchair, travel cot and stairgate are all available, useful for younger guests, and central heating covers the whole house.

Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and an enclosed garden with a lawn and furniture gives space to sit outside. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and smoking is not permitted. The shop and pub are 3.6 miles away and the beach 3.9 miles, with mobile reception patchy in this rural spot though WiFi covers calls.
