Welcombe Mouth

Welcombe Mouth is one of the Hartland Coastal Cabins, a group of single-storey studio huts set on the rural outskirts of Hartland, about 1.7 miles from the village itself. The cabin sleeps 2 in an open-plan space that brings together a double bed, a bunk bed, a kitchenette and a dining area, warmed by an electric fire.

A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC serves the cabin, and the kitchenette runs to a combi oven, hob, fridge with a freezer compartment, kettle and toaster. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, so there is little to bring beyond food and clothes. Guests also have access to the on-site lake, a short walk from the decking.

Outside, a private front decking area has furniture and looks over a shared front lawn with a barbecue hut, useful for cooking outdoors on a warm evening. Take care on the step down from the decking to the lawn. Parking is available on site, and up to two well-behaved pets are welcome to stay.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on site, and the cabins close each year from 21 January to 7 February and again from 6 to 9 June. The nearest shop is 1.7 miles away, the pub 1.6 miles, the beach 1.1 miles, and the on-site lake just 0.3 miles from the cabin.
