This converted hayloft near Starcross has been arranged as a self-contained, open-plan studio, reached via external steps to the first floor. The main room combines lounge, kitchen, dining and sleeping areas beneath original beams and exposed stonework, with distant views towards the Exe estuary and surrounding countryside.

The double bed sits within this L-shaped living space, warmed by an electric heater, while the seating area has a reclining sofa, armchair and a 43" TV/DVD. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, a fridge with ice compartment, a microwave/combi grill and a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine, alongside a dining table and chairs. A separate shower room with WC adjoins the main space.

Outside there is a raised decked area with garden furniture and use of the wider grounds, which take in views over the countryside and estuary. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and a shed is available for bicycle storage, with local bike hire nearby. Guests may use the owner's washing machine by prior arrangement rather than having sole access to laundry facilities.

This cottage sleeps two in one bedroom area and welcomes one dog, with additional charges possibly applying. Internet access is available, and a pub, shops, golf course and beach are all within a mile, with a supermarket around two miles away. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure before 10:00.
