Vantage Point, Hillfield Village

Vantage Point sits within the private Hillfield Village development, about four miles from Dartmouth, with a large hot tub and views across the valley from a wrap-around deck. The four-bedroom house sleeps 8, and guests staying here can also use the development's shared gardens, all-weather tennis court and children's play area.

All four bedrooms are on the ground floor: two en-suite doubles with king-size beds and bath-and-shower bathrooms, plus two twin rooms sharing a family bathroom with a whirlpool bath and separate shower. Each bedroom has its own 43-inch television, and a washer/dryer is tucked away on the ground floor next to the bathroom.

Upstairs, the open-plan first floor holds the kitchen, dining area and sitting room, with a glazed turret dining space and French windows onto a first-floor deck for al fresco breakfasts. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, a fan-assisted oven, a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer and a microwave, and the lounge has a large TV and DVD player.

The large hot tub accommodates four to eight adults. It is drained and refilled on the morning of arrival, so may not be up to temperature straight away, and its availability cannot be guaranteed if you book within five days of arrival. Guests need to bring their own hot tub and beach towels. Allocated parking covers 2-3 cars, and Vantage Point takes no pets and no smoking. Barbecues are not permitted anywhere at Hillfield Village.
