Britannia Crossings Cottage

Britannia Crossings Cottage sits in Kingswear, on the river opposite Dartmouth and about 1.1 miles from the town by road, with the passenger ferry crossing nearby. Off-road parking is provided for 4 cars, and the enclosed rear garden faces the river and the hills behind, with decking, a lawn, a fire pit, a hammock and a sandpit for younger guests.

A twin bedroom is on the ground floor next to a shower room with a walk-in shower, and two double bedrooms with TVs are upstairs, sharing a bathroom with a bath and separate walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom is a double in a separate summer house in the garden, with its own basin and WC rather than an en-suite bathroom. The cottage sleeps 8 across the four bedrooms.

The kitchen/diner has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, a fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine with a milk steamer, and the sitting room has a Smart TV, a Sonos speaker and WiFi throughout. Electric central heating covers the cottage, and there are three further TVs across the bedrooms for evenings in.

No pets are allowed at Britannia Crossings Cottage and the property is strictly no smoking. Check-in runs from 4pm on Mondays and Fridays only, and the cottage does not accept bookings from contractor employees. There are two steps up to the front door and further steps down to the garden, worth noting for anyone with limited mobility, and passing trains can be heard from the nearby track.
