Upper Berry Lodge

Upper Berry Lodge is a two-bedroom cottage sleeping four in Hartland, a short drive from some of North Devon's most dramatic Atlantic coastline. Private off-road parking for two cars makes it straightforward to explore the surrounding area at your own pace.

Arranged largely on one level, the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area centres on comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and a large window framing countryside and sea views. A breakfast bar with stools adds to the sociable feel, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, combi microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The ground-floor king-size bedroom and the bathroom with bath, handheld shower and WC are both along the hallway. A second king-size bedroom on the mezzanine sits beneath the eaves above the living space; limited headroom there is worth considering when booking for taller guests.

Outside, an enclosed garden and private patio come with outdoor seating for al fresco meals, and a private hot tub lets you unwind under open sky after a day on the coast. The South West Coast Path is reachable 1.5 miles away, Hartland Quay with its rock formations lies 2.5 miles out, and the village has traditional shops and pubs within 2 miles.

Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure by 10:00.
