Firebeacon

This converted barn sits on a 260-acre working cattle and sheep farm, where guests are welcome to explore and meet the animals. The single-storey layout retains original features including slate flooring and exposed beams. It sleeps four across two bedrooms, with one bathroom containing a shower, bath and WC.

The lounge and dining area share one spacious room fitted with an electric log burner stove, Smart TV and hi-fi system. The dining table seats six. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Both bedrooms have Smart TVs, and a cot bed is available for children up to five years old. A highchair is also available.

Outside, a patio at the front has seating. A BBQ and fire pit are both available on request. A separate shared lawn area includes a slide, trampoline and football goals; children should be supervised. Parking is available onsite, though EV charging is not permitted. Up to three dogs are welcome, with additional charges that may apply.

Hartland village, a former Georgian market town, is a short distance away with traditional family pubs, shops and historical places of interest. Beaches and a shop are approximately three miles from the barn, and a pub is around two miles away. The farm's position close to the Devon/Cornwall border gives practical access to both counties.
