Edistone Barn

This barn occupies a quiet hamlet on the Devon-Cornwall border, two miles from Hartland village where shops, three pubs and a coffee shop are within easy reach. The property sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, less than two miles from the Atlantic coast and close to the South West Coast Path.

Exposed beams and limestone flooring set the tone inside, with underfloor heating and oil-fired central heating running throughout. A wood burner in the lounge comes with the first basket of logs included, and bi-fold doors open directly onto the patio. The kitchen-diner is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, alongside a large dining table and wall-mounted Smart TV. On the ground floor there is also a shower room with heated towel rail and WC. All three bedrooms are upstairs: two have king-size beds and one is a twin, each with its own TV, and the upper floor bathroom has a freestanding bath and WC.

Outside, an enclosed garden with a patio offers seating and a charcoal BBQ. Parking for three cars is allocated on site; roads to the property are B roads. A private water supply serves the barn.

The barn sleeps four guests as standard and may accommodate up to six on enquiry. A highchair and travel cot are available on request. Up to two dogs are welcome but must not be left unattended at any time. Arrival is from 17:00 and departure by 10:00.
