Topside is a first-floor apartment reached by a passageway from the main road in Salcombe, with a terrace garden set over two levels leading up to a raised deck and swimming pool. It sleeps 8 across four bedrooms, and the property suits up to 6 adults and 2 children.

The four bedrooms cover a super king-size, a double, a triple room combining a bunk and a single, and a further single, served by a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate shower room, plus a cloakroom. A cot and a highchair are available.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and the living/dining room has an electric fire to sit beside on cooler evenings, plus a TV with DVD player and WiFi. The lower terrace has furniture for alfresco dining, while the upper deck holds the pool, open from Whitsun to September depending on demand and sometimes serviced early in the morning. The pool area is gated, but children should not be left unattended on the lower terrace or around the pool.

Dogs are welcome at Topside; check the limit when you book. Smoking is not permitted. There is no parking at the property itself, though on-street and pay-and-display parking are a short walk away. The shop is around 0.2 miles from the door, the pub 0.1 miles and the beach roughly a mile.
