The Yellow House, 13 King Street

The Yellow House is a mid-terrace cottage dating from the early 19th century, with exposed beams throughout, set in the centre of Dawlish. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and is furnished with art from local South West artists, within easy reach of the town's shops, cafes and the seafront.

Entering into the living/dining room, a spacious dining table sits on one side for family meals, while an electric fire set in an exposed brick chimney warms the seating area in front of the television. The ground floor is completed by a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, leading out to the courtyard for outdoor dining.

Upstairs, a king-size bedroom with ample storage for unpacking sits alongside a twin room offering flexible sleeping arrangements, and the two share a single bathroom with both a bath and a walk-in shower, plus a basin and WC. A landing armchair and a selection of books make a quiet spot to sit.

Gas central heating covers the cottage, backed by an electric fire, and the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, alongside a Smart TV with FreeSat, Netflix and Amazon, WiFi and further books. A highchair is available on request, and the enclosed, south-facing courtyard has a patio and furniture for evenings outside.
